We've got a bun in the oven! His due date is September 4. If you're able, please join us at our baby shower in Nebraska on June 13. Later in the year, we will be having a large party in Los Angeles! More details to come for that.

He's growing! Here's his little face at 20 weeks. He was sucking his thumb during the ultrasound and likes to respond when he hears Adam's voice.

Since our first date in October 2023, we've had wonderful adventures of getting to know each other and begin creating a lifetime of memories.
Adam surprised Maria and proposed at Fox & Farrow in Hermosa Beach. This is where we had our first date. After we had dinner, we moved to the couch area for dessert. He asked the waitress to take our picture and said, "And...I'm going to do this" and he got down on one knee and pulled out a beautiful, meaningful ring!
This is when we got home after Adam's proposal with us both wearing our rings.
Wedding Registry:
We had a small elopement ceremony in Vegas on May 23. Later in the year, we will be having a large party! More details to come.

Here we are at Pioneer Saloon, just outside of Vegas in Goodsprings, NV. It's got a lot of character, including great live music, tasty pulled pork, bullet holes in the wall from a deadly game of cards in 1915, ghost sitings, having airplane remnants from Carole Lombard's nearby fatal crash while Clark Gable awaited the news, being a location for the video game Fallout and carrying Texas beer Lone Star.
This is at the beautiful, meditative grounds of Lake Shrine in the Pacific Palisades, which gratefully wasn't too affected by the fires. And we went to the Grand Canyon with Adam's 13-year-old twins Dash and Colton and weaved our way through lots of sightseers to take some pictures of the awe-inspiring natural wonder.
We celebrated our 2 year dating anniversary with old Hollywood outings - including staying at the Roosevelt Hotel which hosted the first Academy Awards in 1929 and here at Musso & Frank's est. 1919, having a Vesper Martini, created by British writer Ian Fleming for his James Bond series in the novel Casino Royale.
We've trotted around going boating on the Colorado River in Parker, Arizona and spent New Year's Eve 2024 in Ireland. We even kissed the Blarney Stone, germs and all!
Maria's short animated film "An Angry Wuzza" played at the Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival. And we took in Chinese New Year decorations near downtown LA.
We ventured much less than 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in a submarine at Catalina Island where we could shoot out fish pellets to attract fishies to look at - or bonk a less alert one on the head with flying food.
This was from the Valentine's dinner at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles where we explored the performance stage area with Dash and Colton. While in Vegas, David Copperfield wowed us with illusions.
We feel very lucky to have found each other and to be sharing our lives with this commitment and ongoing wonderful, fun life moments.
